There's a line I love from a Wilco song, "Listen to my eyes". That's intense. Think about doing that the next time you look at someone. (The stanza is, "Hide your soft skin, your sorrow is sunshine. Listen to my eyes." Beautiful. Tweedy nails it.)
I hope to momentarily achieve that connection in portraits. Even when their eyes don't show in the image, there is something to listen to about the person. This is a broad selection of portraits, old and new, film and digital. Those details don't really matter but people ask. It's the subject that matters.
Stay tuned, this collection will morph and grow.
